Although Harrods has outlets in airports, it hasn’t committed to a true representation of its iconic Knightsbridge home in 160 years. Tourists flock to Harrods from across the world because a visit to Harrods goes far beyond a traditional shopping experience; it is a place enshrined by the best of Britishness, one of outstanding luxury, both present in its products and service.
That all changed this summer, when Harrods asked the JUSTSO team to help it bring to life a stunning pop up Harrods village, nestled in Porto Cervo on the Costa Smeralda; along Sardinia’s stunning emerald coast. This was going to be an exciting set up, a place for Harrods to show off its most exceptional brands in a setting that has become a second home to the international jet set.
The project was to include 22 pop up shops. These were magnificently crafted transparent boxes featuring 6 exclusive Harrods brands, among 22 of its most lavish, including Chopard, Valentino and Hublot – to name a few!
The concept, was to take the luxury ‘Harrods experience’ to a venue matched in its heritage and glamour. The stores themselves stand tall within the harbour, striking constructions of glass and steel set to capture the light of the harbour beautifully. Every detail has been painstakingly thought through and carefully managed by the JUSTSO creative team to make sure the Harrods Brand retains its status as an iconic luxury retailer, outmatched by no other in quality of product or service.
