Swarovski: Punk Rock Exhibition

For this season at The Swarovski Krystallwelten (Crystal Worlds) in Austria, the JUSTSO, one of the leading Retail Store Design Firms, worked with Swarovski to design, art direct, plan, produce and realise a semi permanent exhibition inspired by the glamour and excitement, as expressed by the couture fashion shows, of punk rock chic.

Using punk inspired bright neon colours pink, green and orange, highlights of crystals and a lot of attitude to create three exceptional couture looks for the mannequin installations

Three very different stages dominate the space and each of the three mannequins have been spray painted to create a fun feel that works in contrast to the props. The wigs reflect the cool and edgy style of the time  and the props bring theatre and a fresh approach to this project.

A Victorian bath tub covered in graffiti, vintage light bulbs, neon sparkle, suspended bright orange and lime green acrylic frames, and ribbons of neon elastic create chaos juxtaposed with gorgeous couture from Givenchy by Ricardo Tisci 2010, FENDI by Karl Lagarfield 2010 and Gianfranco Ferré.
